The Palisades Sanctuary

A thoughtful fire rebuild shaped by Mediterranean influence, scale, and enduring craftsmanship

IN DEVELOPMENT 2026

The Palisades Sanctuary is a carefully considered fire rebuild that reimagines the home as a place of calm, permanence, and architectural clarity. Rather than simply replacing what was lost, the design takes the opportunity to restore the residence with intention, elevating both its spatial quality and its sense of presence. Drawing from Mediterranean and Italian-influenced architecture, the home emphasizes proportion, light, and material richness, creating a timeless expression suited to its Palisades setting.

Interior Experience

Interior spaces are defined by generous ceiling heights and a strong vertical connection between levels. A sculptural spiral staircase anchors the home, serving as both a functional circulation element and a defining architectural feature.

The layout balances openness with privacy, allowing spaces for entertaining, family life, and retreat to coexist comfortably. Natural light is carefully introduced throughout, reinforcing a sense of ease and continuity across the home.

Exterior Living and Views

Outdoor spaces are designed as a natural extension of the home, oriented toward expansive ocean views and seamless indoor–outdoor living. Large doors and windows open the main living areas to terraces and balconies, allowing the landscape and horizon to become part of the everyday experience.

A generously scaled pool and hot tub anchor the exterior environment, creating a private setting for both quiet relaxation and gathering. Together, the architecture and outdoor spaces form a cohesive retreat that embraces light, air, and the surrounding coastal context.
