The House Made Whole

A thoughtful renovation that reconnects a split plan and honors mid-century roots.

COMPLETED 2025

This Ladera Heights home, built in the 1950s, carried with it decades of layered family history-once
sheltering two families under one roof. Though rich in original charm, including a breezeway entry,
wood-burning fireplace, and expansive windows, the home lacked the connectivity and comfort
needed for contemporary life.

This Hazel Linear Kitchen is both Inviting and Functional to this New Open Floor Plan.

First Impressions

A simple yet elegant entryway welcomes visitors into a bright, open living space. The redesigned layout unifies previously divided kitchen, dining and family rooms, allowing natural light and social energy to flow seamlessly throughout the home.

Restful Moments

A small niche offers a thoughtful pause near the entry – a place to set down the day’s carry, stow away clutter, and take a final glance before heading out.
