Meet Our Team

Behrooz leads each Reliance project from consultation to completion with vision, discipline, and care. Trained in civil engineering, he blends real estate and design expertise to ensure every detail supports the bigger picture. His process begins with listening and ends with thoughtful spaces that stand the test of time. His passion for work, family, and sports are the three pillars that shape the way he sees the world and the homes he builds.

Behrooz Motamedi

Consult Lead

Golnaz leads Reliance’s design department with creativity, precision, and a deep respect for process. With dual interior design degrees from Ohio State and a background in architecture, she specializes in space planning and rethinking flow and functionality. Known for her meticulous approach, she guides projects from early concepts through permitting, coordinating teams that deliver design packages on time and on budget. Outside of work, she finds inspiration in family, books, hosting, and travel.

Golnaz Motamedi

Design Lead

As Reliance’s construction supervisor, Behrang oversees every job site with a hands-on approach, ensuring steady progress and precise execution. Known for his patient, personable nature, he’s known for making the lengthy building phase feel enjoyable and low-stress. With architecture studies from Ohio State, he blends design insight with practical expertise to turn plans into lasting spaces. Outside of work, he enjoys family life, wood carpentry, and sports.

Behrang Motamedi

Build Lead

Afshan works across renovation and new construction, guiding design from early layouts and permitting through final detailing. Detail-oriented and technically adept, she inherently understands how spaces support everyday life. With a graduate degree in architecture, she designs with balance—focusing on proportion, natural light, and color harmony. Known for her warm, collaborative approach, she always makes the design process rewarding. Outside of work, she enjoys pattern-making and block-printed art inspired by her Iranian heritage.

Afshan Behnam

Architectural Designer

Noa holds a Bachelor of Architecture from USC and interned at renowned architecture offices in Tokyo, where he was exposed to thoughtful, material-driven design. Drawn to small-scale projects, he focuses on quiet, well-considered spaces that feel both functional and personal. Guided by simplicity and a respect for natural materials, he brings careful attention to detail, shaping environments that are intentional, refined, and enduring. Outside of work, he enjoys all art forms—from drawing and martial arts, to film, music, and video games.

Noa Kanani

Architectural Designer

Diana coordinates project scheduling, client communication, and vendor management, keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. With a background in Environmental Policy and Urban Planning from UC Davis, she brings a unique perspective to the design-build process. Passionate about fostering collaboration, she helps project visions take shape through thoughtful, organized workflows. Outside of work, she enjoys sewing, reading, and bike rides.
